Alright, my baseball fanatics, strap in because Week 10 of college baseball just blew up with some alumni action that’ll have you wanting to lace up your cleats and hit the batting cages. It was a week that painted the diamond with some serious fireworks.
So we’re diving right into it—111 hits, 71 runs, 73 RBIs, 28 doubles, a lone triple, and 13 homers. Yeah, those bats were talking all week. Congrats to everyone involved. Your past coaches must be over the moon with those numbers.
Let’s highlight some spotlight performances. Pitcher of the Week goes to Rory Fox from the University of Notre Dame. Man, Rory etched his name somewhere special by owning the mound against Stanford with a complete game shutout. Read that again—complete. game. shutout. In 7 innings, he allowed only four hits, zero runs, and whipped six strikeouts with no walks. That’s ace-level.
Meanwhile, Hitter of the Week is none other than Thomas Curry from the University of Illinois Chicago. This guy must have had his Wheaties because he went on a hitting frenzy! Curry pulled out seven hits from 17 at-bats, scored three runs, knocked in nine RBIs, slammed one double, and added two homers for good measure. Talk about stepping up.

And let’s not forget the guys who came to play—big ups to Ryan Drumm out of Butler University and Gabe Richardson from UM Duluth. Drumm, the dude went six for 17 with three runs while throwing in a home run. Richardson had nine hits and crossed home plate five times. It’s like these guys had their own personal fan sections.
Over at UW Oshkosh, Logan Schill and Ryan Richter had their highlight moments, with Schill adding six hits to his week and Richter tossing three innings of no-hit ball. Add that with guys like Tyler Butina of Madison College racking up extra bases left and right, and Connor Olson of UW Stevens Point going yard twice, we were truly blessed with a stat sheet full of dreams.
Heartland CC’s Brady Davidson, Brayden Pleau, and Joey Spence out of Texas A&M Texarkana? All in on the action, making us remember why we love this game.
And of course, how could we wrap up without tipping our caps to Matthew Mueller at UW Milwaukee? This guy drew up his masterpiece with 7.1 innings pitched, only let five hitters touch him, and struck out 12 with not a single walk. Matthew had the kind of week that shows why baseball’s a game of precision.
So, as the bats get prepped for Week 11, you can bet your bottom dollar these guys are looking to keep the good times rolling. Remember, baseball’s not just a game—it’s an art form, and these artists left it all on the field this week. Keep swinging for the fences, y’all.
